Pakistani businessmen to attend food & drink exhibition in Germany ...

Karachi: Tetra Pak, the world leader in food processing and packaging solutions, today unveils its plans for Anuga FoodTec, the world?s largest and most important food and drink exhibition, which takes place in Cologne, Germany from 27 to 30 March 2012.

Pakistan?s top food processors will join industry giants from world over and gain knowledge of the latest developments shaping the international food and beverage industry. Previous iterations of the prestigious event have drawn more than 1,200 companies from 39 countries worldwide covering the entire spectrum of the food processing chain, from processing to packaging and distribution.

Under the theme of ?Today, Tomorrow, Together?, Tetra Pak?s 4,800 sq m stand will showcase the company?s strong current products and services offering, alongside a range of innovations for the future. Specific areas of focus will include the consumer experience, the environment and customer performance.

With sales of almost ?10.5 billion in 2011, Tetra Pak adopts a long-term investment strategy on innovation to ensure it continues to deliver products and services that meet the changing needs and expectations of customers and consumers.? With this goal in mind, the company invests around 4% of its annual sales in research and development, supporting 11 R&D centres around the world.? Today, it owns more than 5,100 individual patents for the packaging and processing of liquid and semi-liquid food.
