Former Hamilton County Commissioner David Pepper has joined the Cincinnati office of law firm Blank Rome? LLP.
Pepper served on council from 2006 to 2009, leaving his post to run for state auditor against Republican incumbent Mary Taylor in 2010. He had previously served on Cincinnati City Council and was an associate in the Cincinnati office of the law firm of Squire Sanders & Dempsey? . From 1999-2000, he was a law clerk for Judge Nathaniel Jones on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in Cincinnati. Jones now practices with Blank Rome.
"I am excited to join the team, and look forward to growing the Cincinnati practice further--with roles in both the litigation and corporate law areas," Pepper said in an email announcing his new position.
Blank Rome is based in Philadelphia.
